Will Clinical Hypnosis help my pain?
- While everyone is different and everybody's experience with pain is unique, Clinical Hypnosis has been shown to reduce participant's experience of pain. Are fees covered by insurance?
- Health Insurance plans can cover medically necessary psychotherapy, but you should check with your plan to know what is covered, whether authorizations are needed, etc. Diane Simoni is in contract with UnitedHealthCare, Optum, and United Behavioral Health. Please check with your insurance provider for updated information.
Are sessions in-person on on telehealth?
-There are limited in-person visits. Telehealth sessions provided on doxy.me are available.
Does insurance cover Clinical Hypnosis?
- When Clinical Hypnosis is provided by a licensed professional and it is part of a medically necessary treatment plan, yes, insurance plans can cover sessions. You may need to pay directly for Clinical Hypnosis if that is the only service you want.
